Tallest Calavera Catrina

The tallest Calavera Catrina is 28.15 m (92.35 ft) tall, and was achieved by Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) at Faro del Malecón, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, on 3 November 2023

For a second consecutive year the government of Puerto Vallarta decided to break its own record. The new design is inspired by a figure available in stores during the Day of the Dead celebration. The structure is made of metal and carbon fibre, the facial decoration consists of hearts on the forehead and chin. This time the Calavera Catrina was designed to simulate that it talks and introduces itself.
