The fastest time to solve a rotating puzzle tetrahedron whilst in freefall is 24.22 seconds, and was achieved by Chinmay Prabhu (India) in Sri Racha, Chonburi, Thailand, on 14 April 2022.
Chinmay enjoys challenges combining cubing with other activities. This attempt was his first ever skydive.
One of the biggest challenges he experienced was retrieving the puzzle from the other skydiver. The wind resistance was so strong that he struggled to get a good grip but once he got hold of it, he was able to complete the attempt in record timing.
