The longest continuous vehicle drifts is 11.18 km (6.94 miles) and was achieved by Abdo El Feghali (Lebanon), at the Yas Marina Circuit, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on 15 February 2013.


The record was attempted in a round course that measures 260 m. Abdo Feghali managed to complete 43 laps in 14.28 minutes driving a Chevrolet Camaro SS. The first attempt failed, and the second attempt was successful. The record was witnessed by Mr Nabil (Billy) Karam who is eight-time Lebanese motor racing champion. The record breaker fixed an extra tread over the outer edge of the tyre, the item is commercially available and was approved by RMT.
