Highest outdoor observation deck

The highest outdoor observation deck is 560.875 m (1,840 ft) high at The Clock Tower, and was achieved by Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, on 5 January 2026.

At the very top of the clock tower, the observation deck provides a striking vantage point over the surrounding city and beyond. Designed to complement the tower’s architectural significance, the deck allows visitors to step above the urban landscape and appreciate the scale, layout, and landmarks of the area from a unique perspective.
