The most heads of hair braided in 24 hours is 387 and was achieved by Mary Chinonso (Nigeria), in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, on 24 March 2024.

Mary has loved braiding hair since childhood and always dreamed that one day she might be able to achieve something honourable with this skill. This lead her to apply for a Guinness World Record's title. After a successful attempt, Mary is delighted to be an official Record Holder.
