Largest banner suspended

The largest banner suspended measures 12,575.64 m² (135,363 ft² 8 in²) and was achieved by Greater Amman Municipality (Jordan), in Amman, Jordan on 16 April 2021.

Within the preparations of the Greater Amman Municipality and its participation in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan centennial celebration of the founding of the Jordanian state and the campaign of "Our Flag is High", which emphasizes on the importance and symbolism of the Jordanian flag.

The Greater Amman Municipality has prepared to celebrate the National Flag Day of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan, which falls on April 16th, by attempting a Guinness World Records title for the Largest banner suspended, which embodies the Jordanian flag. The flag is suspended from the light poles across Abdoun area, in Amman.

After the flag is removed it will be placed at one of Greater Amman Municipality's exhibition facilities along with other exhibits of the kingdom.
