The most pull ups in 24 hours (male) is 8,940 and was achieved by Kenta Adachi (Japan), in Shunan, Yamaguchi, Japan, from 22 to 23 February 2024.

Kenta has been doing 100-200 pull ups every other day for the past two years. The final three months he specifically trained for the record attempt.

He attempted this record in hope to inspire others to do what they aspire to do.

His children and wife made him special bracelets that he could wear during the attempt.
