The oldest male author is Kim Hyung Seuk (South Korea, b. 6 July 1920), who was 103 years and 251 days when the final draft of his book Kim Hyung-seuk, 100 Years of Wisdom was accepted for publication, in Seoul, South Korea, on 13 March 2024.

Kim Hyung Seuk is a South Korean writer, philosopher, and professor. This book presents his life philosophy that he wishes to leave for the younger generation.
