Longest videogame marathon playing a simulation videogame

The longest videogame marathon playing a simulation videogame is 90 hours, and was achieved by Szabolcs Csépe aka GrassHopper (Hungary) in Kecskemét, Hungary, on 29 June to 3 July 2023.

Szabolcs played Gran Turismo 7 for the attempt using racing simulator hardware. He has previously achieved records for the longest videogame marathon playing games in the Naruto series and longest videogame marathon playing a puzzle game.

He set himself the challenge of using all 474+ stock cars in the game, and by the end of the attempt had covered over 9,100 km. Unlike in previous gaming marathon attempts, Szabolcs chose not to each spicy food (to help him stay awake) and instead opted for sour fruits and candies.
