The fastest time to complete an Ironman blindfolded is 11 hr 3 min 31 sec and was achieved by Haseeb Ahmad (UK) at IRONMAN Barcelona, in Barcelona, Spain, on 2 October 2016.

Haseeb is registered blind and has represented GB in paratriathlon events. He completed the 3.85 km (2.4 mile) swim, 180 km (112 mile) bike and 42.19 km (26.2 mile) run wearing blacked out swimming goggles with his guide Duncan Shea-Simonds.
